Testimonials

"We got estimates from several local companies and selected Gilbert Creek Woodworks because they seemed to offer the highest quality, customization, and attention to detail. They were not the cheapest quote we got, but the quality seemed like it would be top of the heap.

They absolutely delivered in on all fronts! The finish on the cabinets is splendid, their design made the most out of a very unusual space, and the closet is now beautiful.

Everyone at Gilbert Creek is very friendly. Expect them to take the time to get your project right, from sitting down with you to discuss the design for a quote, to getting the finish just right, to coming back to install hardware that was back-ordered." - Terry and Christina W.

“Wisconsin Industrial Sand has worked hard to be a good neighbor and a good steward of its local environment. For a company as committed to sustainability as Fairmount Minerals, building green was a foregone conclusion."

"Our pièce de résistance is a conference table, reception desk and accompanying furniture built from old wine barrels salvaged from Columbia Crest Winery in Wallula, Washington. Our cabinet builder, Duane Zweber, found this century-old, wine-soaked wood and created three works of art that gave us the visual impact to really make this building one-of-a-kind.”

"Duane,

Terri and I want to thank you for your excellent job with our kitchen. We are very happy with how it turned out. We appreciate how you guided through the planning and installation. The ideas that you suggested were good ones and we are glad you suggested for us to consider maple. Your quality and craftsmanship are far superior to the ones we looked at from “The Big Chain stores.” We especially like the glass front cupboard, the layout of the counters, and the large pullout drawers. Sometimes we feel like we are in someone else’s kitchen. We are pleased that you helped us stay on budget and haven’t found anything we would change. When we replace the kitchen window, we will have you match the trim for us. If you have any prospective clients, feel free to have them call us if there are any questions they might have. Once again, thanks for a wonderful job."

"When we decided to give our kitchen a face lift we started getting bids on the work, we felt that being our home is an older one we didn’t want to spend a fortune. We decided to reface our cabinets and started doing some checking. We found an ad in our newspaper and called Duane. He came to our home within a few days. Explained how he makes the cabinet doors with a choice of beautiful woods and designs. He helped us move some appliances around to maximize the size of the room convenience in using my kitchen. We put our cabinet doors up ourselves, with Duane’s knowledge and helping us with any questions along the way. It turned out just beautiful saving nearly $10,000 doing it ourselves."

"Dear Duane,

It is hard to put into words how much we love the new kitchen island! We already put it to use two times this week! On Thursday morning we hosted a breakfast for over 40 students. It was the perfect space to put all the fixings!! And then again that night, the Newman Catholic Students gathered and it was again put to use for their evening meal.

Your gift of labor and wood has made such a difference in our Ministry. Everyone is so incredibly impressed with your workmanship.

You, along with the Knights of Columbus, have been so supportive to our mission here. The Ministry has been a strong presence on this campus for over 40 years. We will continue to serve the students for many years to come. And the kitchen island will be right here along with us!!

I, along with staff members Father Tom Krieg, Christine Warloski, Pastor Kurt Larson and Tim Schroeder thank you again for your gift. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated."
